Thursday 24th October 2024  in person CPD session “Music Basics” at Wordsworth Primary 4pm - 5.30pm

What are the ‘elements of music’ and the ‘interrelated dimensions of music’? This practical hands-on session empowers teachers with the skills and knowledge to deliver music with confidence. Starting with some useful musical warm ups for a variety of age ranges you will then learn; note duration, reading rhythms, notation, notes on the scale and put it all together as a practical performance and composition activity with instruments.

This workshop is designed to boost your confidence in teaching practical music activities in your classroom and give you lots of ideas, resources and strategies to do so!
